I'm a hospital pharmacist by day and amateur road racer on the weekends. I've been a pharmacist for over 20 years and began riding motorcycles as a way to commute back and forth from Salem to Corvallis while working as an intern at a small Pharmacy. I was never raised on motorcycles nor had I ever really been around them other than going to the races in Fremont, California in the early 70's with my Dad. I probably saw some really cool racers and don't even know it.

I have been participating in trackdays off and on since 2002 and really started getting into it in 2005. I participated in every trackday that PSSR had to offer that year and have only missed a few since then. PSSR has taken me from “newbie know nothing” to now a racer within the OMRRA racing series at PIR.

I'm a motorcycle geek. I read everything I can about motorcycling, racing and even watch MotoGP on my computer early in the morning just to have the feeling of seeing it LIVE. I study the techniques; I try the techniques and apply them to my teaching. I want to progress, but ultimatel y if I can teach others what I have learned, passing it down, that is my ultimate reward. It's exciting to see a newer rider figuring out the complexities of riding a motorcycle fast on the track. I am not the fastest rider out there, nor will I ever be, but what I have to offer is an ability to help new riders understand the concepts (physical and more importantly mental) and begin to have confidence in their own motorcycling abilities.

Stop by and say hello. I'd love to ride and talk with you.
